Shyndigz is building a refrigerated dessert vending machine in its parking lot at 1912 W. Cary St.

Why it matters: Shyndigz 24/7 will offer slices of the beloved dessert cafe's cakes, pies and more, 24 hours day, seven days a week.

State of play: The Fan District bakery announced its delicious new endeavor on Thursday, promising to share construction updates on its social as work continues.

In addition to cake and pie slices, the little shed on Cary will have 18 refrigerated lockers stocked with whole desserts, fresh flowers, savory snacks and even some merch.
Items from its sister restaurant, the Fancy Biscuit, will also be available in the lockers.

What's next: The sweetest addition in Richmond history should be up and running in the next few months, WRIC reports.
