Thursday, Nov. 13
🍷 Jardin in the Fan is having a "Chilean Wine Tasting." Show up any time between 6-8pm. Tickets start at $12 and include five different wines.
🎨 The "Symphony of Color" exhibit from local artists has its grand opening at the Cultural Arts Center in Glen Allen. 6-8pm. Free.
🧁 If your friends always tell you that you're a great baker, this one's for you: Richmond Public Library's East End location has a bake-off club where local bakers give each other tips and taste-test items. 6-8pm. Free.
👑 TikTok storyteller Liz Gotauco will be at Fountain Bookstore in Shockoe Slip to chat about her web series, "F*cked Up Fairy Tales." 6pm. Free.
👵🏼 The latest part of the Valentine's "Controversy/History" series is talking about the future of Richmond's aging infrastructure. We know it well. 6pm. Free.
🛼 Rollerdome in Sandston has a "KPop Demon Hunters" theme night for its last open skate of the year. Costumes are encouraged. 6:30-9pm. $7 includes skate rental.
Friday, Nov. 14
🍂 Nothing like a crisp Fall Farmers Market at Compass Christian Church in Mechanicsville. It's the last one of the year. 5-7pm. Free.
🎄 It's Grand Illumination time at Short Pump Town Center, and Santa will be there. 6pm. Free.
🎅 Merry Midtown's holiday celebration at Libbie Lake is back with carriage rides, sweet treats and seasonal cocktails. 6-9pm. Free.
🎤 Pitch your single friend to a crowd at Hardywood's Ownby Lane spot. 6-9pm. $5 to lock in a spot. Sign up here.
👠 If you like opera, you'll love this: Cinderella is at the Dominion Energy Center 7:30 Friday and 2:30pm Sunday. Tickets start at $18.60.
🍭 Car, Candy, Palooza at Cross Pointe Church on Hull Street has cars decked out in certain themes and, of course, candy. 6:30pm-8:30pm. Free.
Saturday, Nov. 15
🏃🏻♀️ It's Marathon Day! The event has been sold out for a while but there are party zones and live music spots across the city you can join.
- There's also an after party at Bingo Beer where anyone who ran the race and shows their medal can get half off beer. Noon-5pm.
- The official marathon post-race party is on Brown's Island, where your bib gets you a free beer or cocktail, 8am-2:30pm.
🍇 Riverside Vines in Sutherland, near Chester, is celebrating Virginia Wine Month with its Harvest Festival, which includes $5 hay rides, fall sangria and pumpkin painting. Noon-6pm. Free.
🎶 AfroSocaLove is a music festival at the Venue Richmond featuring reggae, afrobeats, soca, reggaeton music and more. 5-10pm. Tickets start at $13.
🎁 Coco + Hazel's Bon Air location has a Merry Market with dozens of local artists and in-shop holiday food and drink specials. 10am-4pm. Free.
Sunday, Nov. 16
Richmond Indigenous Peoples' Day celebration at Powhatan Hill Park will celebrate the history and culture of Virginia's recognized Indian tribes. Noon-5pm. Free.
🧘♂️ Soulful Sound Sundays at St. Luke Legacy Center offers sound bath meditations to destress your mind. 3pm. Tickets start at $15 if you bring a friend.
😋 Kristen's Kitchen Food Truck is opening its brick-and-mortar restaurant at 12236 Branders Creek Drive in Chester. 11am-9pm. Free unless you buy food, of course.
🇵🇪 There's a Peru Fest dedicated to the food, art and culture of Peruvian people at 1000 Virginia Center Parkway in Glen Allen. Noon-5pm. Free.
