Old-school costumes rule Richmond's Halloween

Rumi from Netflix movie "KPop Demon Hunters" is the Halloween costume Richmonders are searching for the most this year, per Google data.

Why it matters: Other than Rumi, Richmonders went old school on their costume searches for the second year in a row.

Driving the news: Google once again released a map of the most-searched costumes this year by metro area.

🫦 Jessica Rabbit from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" — yes, the late 1980s movie.
🧟‍♂️ Chicken jockey — that is, a baby zombie riding a chicken, made famous in "A Minecraft Movie," which actually came out this year.
🌱 Poison Ivy, which we assume is from the late 1990s movie "Batman & Robin" but could also be due to HBO Max's "Harley Quinn" series.
