It's finally Halloweekend in Richmond, and the itinerary is stacked.
Thursday, Oct. 30
๐ฟ๏ธ The Diamond is hosting Squirrel-O-Ween, which has trick-or-treating and pics with Nutzy and Nutasha. 5:30-8:30pm. Free.
๐ธ Gather and Hem has a "Boo's and Booze" cocktail class, where you can learn how to make Halloween-themed cocktails. 6-8pm. $40.
๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ The critically acclaimed movie "Sinners" is playing at the Byrd Theatre. 7-10pm. $9.
๐ค๐ผ Ring in the Halloween creepiness with Nu Metal Night at the Camel, which features covers from iconic metal bands like Slipknot and System of a Down. 8pm. $15.
๐ค There's Scary-Oke, or spooky karaoke, at Ardent Craft Ales in Scott's Addition. If you win the costume contest, you get tickets for Shrek Burlesque at the Broadberry. 9pm-midnight. Free.
Friday (Halloween!)
๐ It's time for Hanover Avenue's iconic Halloween trick-or-treating block parties, which span from the 1800 to 2200 blocks. 5-9pm. Free.
๐ Hill-O-Ween at Libby Hill Park has its annual costume parade with a map of Church Hill's spookiest houses. 5-6pm. Free.
๐ Then there's the 20th annual punk gothic Halloween parade from All Saints Theater Company starting at Monroe Park. 7pm. Free. Check out what it looked like last year here.
๐ Fallout's Monsters Ball will have vinyl DJ sets and cage dancing. 8pm-2am. $15.
๐จ Haunted Hotel Halloween at Quirk Hotel has craft cocktails, a DJ and its happy hour food menu. 9pm-midnight. $15 at the door includes a cocktail.
๐ป Scotty's House of Horrors is a Halloween Party at Scotty's Taphouse with live music, a buffet and a costume contest where the winner takes home $500. 9pm. $25 at the door.
๐ท Jardin is turning its patio into a dance floor for its Halloween Pizza Dance Party. 6-10pm. Free.
Saturday, Nov. 1
โ๏ธ The two-day Richmond Coffee Festival is at the convention center with sessions that include latte art and cold brew competitions. Times vary. All day passes range from $30-$35.
๐ช Nothing says fall like a bluegrass festival at Hardywood's Ownby Lane spot. 2-9:30pm. Free.
๐ Scott's Addition as a "Booz Crawl" starting at Vรคsen where you can go through 12 different breweries, cideries and more. Noon-8pm. Free.
Sunday, Nov. 2
๐ง Go defy gravity at Southern Serenity's "Wicked Tea Experience," which is a 3-course event inspired by the musical, in Midlo. 1pm. $45 with a $20 deposit.
