A fun indoor spot for kids this summer: Urban Air in Henrico

The big picture: The giant trampoline and adventure park, which took over the old Bed Bath & Beyond spot this spring, has a zipline, bumper cars, dodgeball and — of course — this obstacle course that kicked my butt when I went recently.

• Essentially every kid did better than me.

Fun fact: They recently launched an unlimited 60-day summer pass for $59, which is a steal considering their best ticket costs $38 and you're required to get these special socks for an additional $4.

Pro tip: If you don't have children and feel weird going without one like I did, just borrow your friend's kid.

• They'll love it and you'll get to play laser tag or lovingly knock them out with a battle beam.
