What's the landmark, view or moment that lets you know you're almost home?

You know, that thing you see after a week of traveling that signals your trip is over and you're almost back in sweet little RVA.

For us, it depends where we're coming from.

Karri says: As a Southsider (and if I've taken Powhite), it's the moment Forest Hill narrows at the corner of Jahnke and feels like the city again. Then I breathe a little easier.

If i'm coming from the Expressway, it's coming off the Lee Bridge and curving onto Riverside and where a mass of river-rats is inevitably crossing.

Sabrina says: It's driving back from the airport, through Chesterfield and seeing the Richmond skyline from the highway.
