The same person who directed "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" is behind the live-action movie of Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" out this weekend.
Why it matters: He's from Henrico County, reports the Times-Dispatch.
The big picture: Dean Fleischer Camp grew up making childhood home videos with his brother's camcorder, graduated from Freeman High School, then spent a few years at JMU (go Dukes).
He also told RTD that people can expect "very different characters" with new themes for the live-action version.
And on TikTok, Camp joked that "You're so f–ked if you don't think it has heart. You're going to be sobbing like a little baby."
Sabrina's thought bubble: All I hope is that Movieland has Stitch scanning movie tickets like other theaters did.
