If you need a geesebuster, just call Duck Dynasty and Mooshy Moo.
A decade ago, they were part of a program where Richmond's animal shelter let the Department of Public Utilities "hire" shelter dogs to scare off geese at the water plant.
Duck Dynasty, a hound mix nicknamed "DD" or "Ducky," was the firstto post up at the on-site kennels the shelter built.
Then there was Valerie and Mooshy Moo. All were adopted by DPU staffers.
And let us not forget Son of a Biscuit, a black Lab.
Fun fact: We weren't able to find out when the program ended, but the animal shelter did find a stray dog earlier this year near the city's most controversial facility.
