The Richmond Flying Squirrels want to make a bobblehead of you (maybe)

The Richmond Flying Squirrels are on the hunt for their most super of super fans.

Why it matters: If you're that fan, the team wants to make a bobblehead of you — and make the You Bobblehead one of its giveaways for the upcoming season. For real.

How it works: Simply fill out the online submission form telling the team what the Flying Squirrels means to you and why you deserve to be named the No. 1 fan (and be made into a bobblehead).

• Submissions are open till 9:30pm on Feb. 27 and the winner will be announced in early April.

What's next: After April, the winner just has to wait for the Squirrels' whole regular season to see their bobblehead in action as the giveaway.

• The #1 Fan Bobblehead will go to game attendees at the regular season finale on Sunday, Sept. 14.
• The season opener is Friday, April 4.
