OK so maybe the Commanders didn't make it to the Super Bowl — but it doesn't mean you can't support local for all your Super Bowl party needs this Sunday.
Here are some Richmond restaurants you can pre-order or get takeout from for this Sunday's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
Abuelita's is offering a Super Bowl party pack with 10 quesabirria tacos, plus chips salsa and queso for $40.
Lee's Chicken offers a 12-piece family meal with sides and biscuits for $42, on Sunday and every day.
Nokoribi (inside The Veil Scott's Addition) once again has its Chicken Party Special with spicy drums, Togarashi-spiced wings and Karaage chicken nuggets, plus sides. $55, feeds 4-6 people. Order by Saturday.
ZZQ's big game specials include a 3-pound rack of ribs for $55 and a half-dozen smoked wings for $16.
The Smoky Mug has a Buffalo Wing Party Pack with chips, queso and salsa starting at $27. Order by Wednesday (or until they sell out).
Mayor's Meats in Carytown has three options: a party pack with ribs, chili and 24 pigs in a blanket; a Hot Dog Crave Case with 12 wagyu dogs; a Sausage Crave Case with a variety of sausages. Ranges from $45-$60.

Yes, but: Super Bowl party prices will be a mixed bag this year, with some staples still notably costlier compared to pre-pandemic times.
- Prices for meat, poultry, fish, eggs, fruits, veggies, alcohol and soft drinks were all up in December 2024 relative to December 2019, per consumer price index data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The bottom line: Don't let that stop you if you can help it.
