Virginians' Thanksgiving sides searches

While most of the country is searching for casserole and stuffing dishes to make for Thanksgiving, Virginians are on the hunt for a delicious alternative: deviled eggs.

Driving the news: The Old Dominion is one of just five states where its residents are looking for nontraditional sides this holiday, according to Google Trends' insights into last week's top holiday food searches.

Meanwhile, pumpkin pie is the T. Day baked food of choice for locals.

The intrigue: Good old fashioned deviled eggs may have topped Virginians side searches, but "deviled egg jello shots" was the top deviled egg search across country last week.

That's basically a traditional, boozy jello shot, just made to look like a deviled egg, which might make for a fantastic Thanksgiving Day surprise for your family.
