If you're looking to get your Thanksgiving dinner fix early — and piled between two pieces of bread — we've got you covered.
Driving the news: We rounded up six of the tastiest Thanksgiving-feast-on-a-bun options in town.
- Each of these met our criteria for what makes a good one — turkey, plus at least one additional feast ingredient, like stuffing, gravy, cranberry, mashed potatoes or passive-aggressive judgment for your life choices.

Here they are:
Stanley's: Richmond's self-described "Hoagie Emporium" does its T-Day sandwich right — Roast turkey, sausage and apple Stuffing, crispy onions, gravy, and the "good cranberry sauce." The Stanley's Gobbler™ is $16.
Eazzy Burger: This Scott's Addition burger joint is getting in on the action with a ground turkey burger patty topped with cheddar, mushroom gravy, cranberry sauce, crispy onions, lettuce and mayo — or as they call it, Bird is the Word, $13.
Superstars Pizza: The Near West End sub and pizza shop is slinging Turkey Day for the holidays, that's a turkey sub topped with gravy, stuffing, cranberry and crispy onions, $13.99.
Three Notchd: This Scott's Addition brewery's The Gobbler sandwich subs a ground turkey burger for roasted, but the rest of the toppings give full Tday vibes: Stuffing cranberry aioli and cheddar, all on a brioche bun. $20, with a side plus a pint of No Veto beer.
Garnett's Cafe: Its Louisville Hot Brown is an open-faced hot turkey, melted cheddar and bacon sandwich topped with a mornay gravy sauce. It's available year-round, but don't let that stop you from enjoying it seasonally. $12.50.
The Continental: Both locations serve up the Kentucky Hot Brown year-round, that's an open-faced, roasted turkey on sourdough, topped with country gravy, smoked bacon and tomato.
If you prefer a chain or gas station, Wawa and Arby's have their own gobbler sandwiches, too.
