It's time for Fall Richmond Restaurant Week 2024

Fall Richmond Restaurant Week starts Monday.

Why it matters: Restaurant Week helps promote Richmond's independently-owned restaurants and serves as a major fundraiser for Feed More, the region's food pantry.

The big picture: For more than 20 years, the RRW nonprofit run by Acacia midtown co-owner Aline Reitzer has coordinated the twice-annual, weeklong dining event.

RRW brings together dozens of local restaurants, which put together a special three-course menu for $35.24 per person, with $5.24 going to Feed More.
The fall event starts Monday, Oct. 21 and runs through Sunday.
Around 30 restaurants are participating; menus are posted on their websites.

Newcomers for the fall are:

🍷Echelon Wine Bar in Shockoe Slip
🥘 Kismet Modern Indian in Scott's Addition
🐷 Pig & Brew in Manchester

Out since spring: Odyssey Fish, the West End Mid-Atlantic seafood spot, which closed over the summer.

If you go: Reservations are strongly recommended and often easier to find earlier in the week than on Friday and Saturday.

All you have to do is visit any of the participating restaurants and eat.
