It's another jam-packed, festival-filled Richmond weekend, and we've got you covered with all the coolest events in town.
Friday
🍻 St. Benedict Oktoberfest takes over Museum District streets once again with three days of beer, stein-holding contests, chicken dances and German food outside St. Benedict Church. Friday-Sunday Times vary. Free.
🥳 The Answer Brewpub's 10-year anniversary celebration is throwing down with collab brews with 10 guest breweries from Virginia and beyond. Party will be going Friday-Sunday. Friday-Sunday Times vary. Free.
🤣 Comedian Jim Gaffigan is bringing his "Barely Alive Tour" to Altria Friday and Saturday. 7pm. Tickets start at $39.75.
Saturday
🥝 2nd Annual Pawpaw Festival is a one-day celebration of the native-to-Virginia custardy tropical-tasting fruit at Powhatan State Park. Expect vendors serving pawpaw dishes, plus live music. 11am-3pm. $20 per car.
🍺 Maymont Bier-Garden is a two-day German-style festival with craft beer, Bavarian food specialties, plus food trucks, live music and a parade of costumed Dachshunds. Saturday and Sunday. 11am – 7:30pm. Non-member adult tickets are $10.
🌺 Iron Blossom Music Festival is back at Bon Secours Training Center/Midtown Green with headliners Caamp, Mt. Joy, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and the Turnpike Troubadours. Saturday and Sunday. Gates at 1pm. Single-day tickets start at $135.22.
🎺 The RVA East End Festival is a music and dance fest featuring student and professional performances and collects funds for East End schools' performing arts programs. Noon-9pm at Chimborazo Park. Free.
🌳 Pick yourself up a free native tree or shrub courtesy of The Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Virginia Interfaith Power & Light at Memorial Baptist Church in the East End. 9am-noon. Free. Three trees per household limit.

🌮 Juan's Taco & Margarita Festival at Main Line Brewery is shaping up to be an epic fest with taco and margarita stations, a mariachi band, and a meet and greet with Lucha Libre wrestlers. Noon-7pm. $10, free for kids 10 and under.
