What to do in Richmond this weekend: Pride, Greek Festival and Shrek raves

Cheers to the freakin' weekend and the (soon-to-be) start of Pride Month.

All weekend starting Thursday

🔋 Charged Up Fest, a four-day hip-hop festival, will have concerts, dance parties, community bike rides and basketball games from Thursday to Sunday. Click here for the full schedule.

🇬🇷 The 46th annual Richmond Greek Festival is back at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

• Thursday: 11am-9pm.

Friday

🤣 Shrek-themed rave at the Canal Club. 8pm. $15.

🎶 Sir Chloe is performing on Brown's Island as part of Friday Cheers. 6-9:30pm. $10 advance.

🪩 Give Out day at New York Deli is a rooftop party kicking off Pride Month with Diversity Richmond. 6-9pm.

Saturday (the start of Pride Month)

🍻 Starr Hill has the "Endless Summer of Pride Kickoff," which includes food, queer artists and open mic comedy. 12-10pm. Free.

🏳️‍🌈 The Queer Weekend, a two-day block party at Legend Brewing Company and Basic City Beer Co. with live music, food trucks and drag shows.

• Sunday: 1-4pm.

🦞 Brews & Broils: River City Crawfish Fest at Väsen Brewing Company. 1-5pm. $50.

🥩 Holy Smokes: Amateur Smoking Competition at 2810 in Carytown will have meat samples and homemade sides for purchase. 5-8pm. Free.

🎤 Drag Karaoke at Cabo Fish Taco. 9pm. Free.

🐰 Noche de Verano Sin Ti: a Bad Bunny tribute party at the Canal Club. 9pm. $15.

Sunday

☀️ Black Rabbit Tattoo is having a "Summer Lovin': Pride Block Party" that doubles as a flash tattoo fundraiser with food trucks, community art and face painting. 10am-2pm.
