Facebook groups
Facebook will be your No. 1 best friend here, with multiple groups set up to make the search easier.
Lindsey's List is one of the original ones with nearly 68,000 members.
Lindsey's List RVA is like the above option's twin, with almost 48,000 people.
Richmond Rentals, Apartments, Housing, Rooms, Sublets, Roommates has roughly 23,000 people.
VCU Housing, Sublets and Roommates was founded in 2015 to help engineering students find housing. It's evolved to more than 15,900 members.
Richmond Housing, Sublets and Roommates has 15,500 followers and includes tips for how to avoid rental scams.
RVA Roommates, Rentals & Sublets is smaller at 11,600 people but still active.
