President Biden leads presidential campaign contributions from large donors in Virginia, followed by former President Trump and Nikki Haley.
- Biden raked in over $1.9 million from about 11,200 donations as of this week.
- Trump raised just over $1.6 million from around 42,019 donations, while Haley reported more than $1.4 million from 15,777 donations.
The big picture: Biden's re-election team has now amassed $130 million in the bank.
In contrast, the Republican National Committee started the year with over $8 million in cash on hand, and Trump's team is spending tens of millions on legal bills.
