Standard makes a lunch play in North Hills

We met up for a meal at the new Standard location in North Hills Innovation District on Monday.

Driving the news: The restaurant is looking to gain a foothold in Raleigh's lunch scene by opening at 11am every day of the week.

What to try: We both loved our salads ($13-15), especially with fried tofu ($5). Tater tots ($14) never disappoint, and one order is big enough to share.

And don't overlook the N. Sea oysters ($3.50 each). N. Sea is pronounced N-C because they're sourced from a Topsail Island farm.
