It's that time of the year again: We're putting together our annual best restaurants list, and we want to hear your thoughts.

Our list is based on a little bit of everything: atmosphere, service, food quality, consistency and other criteria.

Why it matters: This list is an annual tradition for us and gives us a chance to spotlight new and older local restaurants that are making a splash or longtime beacons in the Triangle's vibrant and ever-changing restaurant scene.
