The Stanley Cup is set to parade through the streets of downtown Raleigh on Saturday, passing the North Carolina State Capitol and bringing the championship team downtown for the day.
Why it matters: We are now in the summer of the Carolina Hurricanes. It's time to day party.
🕚 If you go: The parade starts at 11am.
Park for free in one of these five city-owned parking decks: Cabarrus Street, City Center, Moore Square, City Hall and Wilmington Street Station.
🥳 Zoom in: The 1-mile parade route starts on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary's Street.
It heads east 0.6 miles, turning right at the State Capitol onto Salisbury Street.
Quick left onto Morgan Street, then right onto Fayetteville Street.
It rolls down Fayetteville another quarter-mile before ending at Davie Street.
🏒 At the end of the route, the players will hop off and walk to City Plaza for a rally continuing into the late afternoon.
