Raleigh-Durham International Airport is adding two more Caribbean destinations later this year.
Why it matters: BermudAir, a Bermuda-based airline that previously operated a Raleigh to Bermuda flight, is returning to RDU with two routes to Belize and the Turks and Caicos.
Neither of those destinations had direct flights from RDU.
Zoom in: The flights will begin on Dec. 20 and operate seasonally until May 2, 2027.
BermudAir will fly on Thursdays and Sundays.
Flashback: BermudAir previously offered twice-weekly service from RDU to Bermuda, but ended that service in January.
The airline told the News & Observer it hopes to resume flights between RDU and Bermuda in the future.
