With Carolina and Duke tied near the end of regulation Saturday night, head coach Hubert Davis drew up a play that would give the deciding shot to senior Seth Trimble.
Trimble sank a 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left, giving the Tar Heels the lead for the first time all night and cementing the game as an instant classic.
"He was the one. Because, during this time of NIL and transfer portal, having a kid as accomplished as Seth to stay at one school for four years… He's deserving of being remembered forever."
