Gorjana jewelry brand opening North Carolina stores in expansion push

The California jewelry brand Gorjana is making a splash in North Carolina, with two stores opening this year, and a third coming soon to Raleigh.

The vibe: Gorjana is known for its simple, gold designs that are meant to be layered. Kane Realty called it a "coastal-cool aesthetic" in the announcement of a new location in North Hills.

It will be next to True Food Kitchen in North Hills' main district, likely opening in early 2026, according to Kane.

Zoom in: The brand started with wholesaling in 2004, and didn't open its own retail store until over a decade later, the fashion and beauty publication Glossy reports.

Gorjana's strategy has since emphasized brick-and-mortar locations where stylists can interact with customers. Over 120 locations are currently listed on the website.

The first North Carolina store was in Charlotte, and it opened this spring at SouthPark mall. The brand's Instagram comments were filled with requests to come to Raleigh.

Last month, a Durham location opened inside the mall at the Streets at Southpoint.
