SkillPop, a Charlotte-based company that hosts pop-up events taught by local experts, is returning to the Triangle after moving to an online model during the pandemic.
Why it matters: Founded in 2015, the company has gained a devoted following for offering pop-up classes on everything from photography and business development to bread baking and matcha making.
The company offered in-person classes in Raleigh from 2016 to 2020, before the pandemic moved it to a hybrid model.
Driving the news: It now plans to return to Raleigh later this month, with its first in-person classes since 2020.
Classes available to sign up for include floral arrangements, interior decorating, budgeting and watercoloring.
Tickets range from $30 to $65 per person, and events are hosted at various locations.
What they're saying: "Raleigh has always been a special part of our story," Haley Bohon, SkillPop's founder and an N.C. State grad, said in a statement. "We loved being part of this community from 2016 to 2020; after hearing from so many people who missed learning with us, we knew we had to come back."
