Zoom out: North Carolina has 11 total companies on the 2025 Fortune 500 list, one fewer than last year. South Carolina has none.
Durham-based clinical research company IQVIA Holdings in Durham ranked No. 282, down 7 spots from last year.
Raleigh-based First Citizens Bank, which debuted on the list last year at 182, fell to No. 293.
Advance Auto Parts,the Raleigh car parts dealer, came in at No. 389, down from No. 358 in 2025.
Burlington-based Labcorp also made the Fortune 500 list.
