The Halal Guys, a Manhattan-born fast casual franchise, will open its second North Carolina location in Cary on Saturday.
Why it matters: The restaurant chain is the self-proclaimed American pioneer of Halal food and known for its platters and gyros.
Driving the news: As part of it's grand opening, the Cary location will give a free small platter to the first 50 people in line. Those who download the restaurant's app and select Cary as their favorite location will be entered to win various prizes.
