Narrative Coffee, which has served coffee in recent years across the Triangle via a truck, will open its first brick-and-mortar location in Durham this summer.
Driving the news: Narrative plans to open its first cafe at 300 Morris St. in downtown Durham on the first floor of the Durham Innovation District office building, the building's owner Longfellow Real Estate Partners said.
The goal is to open in June, but Narrative plans to host pop-up events at the building every Friday until it then.
Between the lines: The move will bring a coffee shop back to the downtown building, home to companies like Google and Tune Therapeutics, after previous coffee shop tenant 321 Coffee closed its cafe there last summer.
Other retail tenants located there include Flying Bull Beer Co. and Virge Yoga.
