Beer Study, one of the Triangle's favorite craft beer bars, has reopened in Carrboro after having to find a new home for its original bar.
Why it matters: For more than 10 years, Beer Study has been one of the area's most popular destinations to buy and drink craft beer — first serving beer on Roberson Street in Chapel Hill and then expanding to a second location in Durham, which it shares with the soccer bar The Boot Room.
The original Chapel Hill location moved to Franklin Street in 2022, but closed last year after another restaurant took its place, putting the bar's owners on the search for a new home in Chapel Hill.
Driving the news: Now, after months of renovation, Beer Study is back in business just a few miles away in the South Green development in Carrboro.
Beer Study debuted there earlier this month with a soft opening, and is now open Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 10pm.
