To anyone with kids in the Triangle, Page Farms in Raleigh is obviously not a secret, as evidenced by the hoards of families we saw on a recent warm Sunday morning.
Why it matters: To those of you unfamiliar, this place has just about every kid-friendly fall activity/attraction you could dream of — a hay ride, pumpkins, a "barnyard playground" with slides and swings, plus tons of delightful farm animals like cows, goats, horses and chickens.
Admission ($12 on the weekdays, $15 on the weekends) gets you access to all of that. Children 2 and under get in free.
The farm's open for the fall season now through Nov. 2.
My thought bubble: Budget at least 90 minutes if you go. My 2.5-year-old daughter would have been delighted to stay all afternoon if we had the time.
