The International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass Festival returns to downtown Raleigh for the last time on Friday and Saturday.
Why it matters: For a decade, IBMA has held its annual conference and music festival in downtown Raleigh, becoming one of the city's most popular annual events.
But after landing $25 million from the state of Tennessee, IBMA will take its event west to Chattanooga after this year's edition.
Driving the news: The two-day festival will have musical performances on six stages along Fayetteville Street, as well as larger performances at Red Hat Amphitheater.
Headliners include Steep Canyon Rangers and Sierra Ferrell.
There will also be food and drink vendors and arts and crafts.
Details: Friday performances start at 4:15pm and Saturday artists take the stage at 5pm.
Tickets to get into Red Hat range from $10 to $80, while street stage performances are free.
What's next: Bluegrass won't be leaving downtown entirely after this year.
