With Thanksgiving around the corner, the Triangle has plenty of holiday-themed events happening this weekend.
Here are some of our favorites:
🎄The 79th Annual Raleigh Christmas Parade, which will not have cars or motorized floats this year, is Saturday at 9:30am. VisitRaleigh has a guide to everything you need to know about the parade.
⛸️THE RINK at Red Hat Amphitheater opens Saturday at 11am. Skater admission is $15.
🍻Trophy Brewing is celebrating its 10th anniversary Saturday from 12-6pm at its Maywood location. The event will have live music, a KidZone and food from Locals Seafood and Lawrence Barbecue.
🏮The NC Chinese Lantern Festival is returning this weekend to Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre for its 8th year.
💡The Fenton's annual Light the Square event begins Saturday at 5pm and will feature ice skating and horse-drawn carriage rides. Reserve your spot for a carriage ride here.
🌳The new Downtown Cary Park opens Sunday following more than 20 years of planning. After a ribbon cutting ceremony, the park will celebrate with live entertainment, light shows and more.
