Pinal is one of fastest growing U.S. counties

The Valley's taking its sprawl to a whole other county.

• Pinal County — long considered Maricopa's rural neighbor — is now one of the fastest-growing counties in the U.S., per new Census estimates.

📈 Pinal's population jumped nearly 5% from 2024 to 2025. Maricopa grew just 0.8%.

Stunning stat: More than 100,000 people have moved to Pinal since 2020, bringing its population to nearly 540,000.

The bottom line: Phoenix hasn't stopped growing, we're just spilling over.
