Ballet Arizona takes over Orpheum Theatre this weekend for a performance heavy on ... cactus?
State of play: "Cacti & Other Works" is a compilation of three short ballets, that last of which is a "gleeful parody of the artform's greater excesses."
"Dancers run, fall, writhe, and try to escape their invisible prisons — with a few cacti along the way. But what does it all mean?" the description says.
