Phoenix hit 90 degrees last Friday for the first time this year — more than a month ahead of schedule.
Why it matters: It appears our days of decent weather are numbered.
The latest: Phoenix Sky Harbor recorded a high temperature of 92 degrees onFriday and Saturday and 93 degrees yesterday.
Typically, the first 90-degree day hits around March 30, National Weather Service Phoenix meteorologist Ryan Worley told Axios.
What's next: The high pressure system that's warmed the Valley is expected to weaken today, which should bring a bit of a reprieve the remainder of the week.
Reality check: The forecast is calling for highs in the low-to-mid 80s, which is still about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, Worley said.
What we're watching: Conditions are favoring warmer-than-normal weather for much of March, but rain storms could pull down temperatures, he said.
