Athletes and entrepreneurs got a lot of love in the Arizona edition of Forbes' annual "30 Under 30" list.
State of play: The 2026 roundup of Arizonans under age 30 to watch was chosen by a panel of four judges — One PointOne founder Samuel Bertram, Arizona Cardinals president Michael Bidwill, Tucson Electric Power CEO Susan Gray and Arizona Commerce Authority CEO Sandra Watson.
Zoom in: The list is heavy on professional athletes who, while deserving of accolades, aren't exactly flying under the radar.
- They include Suns guard Jalen Green, Diamondbacks players Corbin Carroll and Geraldo Perdomo, Cardinals players Trey McBride and Michael Wilson, and the Mercury's Natasha Mack and Satou Sabally.
- Two UofA collegiate athletes made the list as well — basketball star Koa Peat and high jumper Emma Gates.
Between the lines: Some of the other names are a bit less known to most Arizonans, including:
- Sandul Gangodagamage, owner of the online 3D game site Legion Platforms.
- Amy Bockerstette, a competitive amateur golfer with Down syndrome who founded the I GOT THIS Foundation, which introduces the sport to people with intellectual disabilities.
- Logan Rose, founder and CEO of Big League Wiffle Ball.
🗣️ You tell us: Such lists are subjective by nature, so we want to know some Arizonans under 30 you think people should know about.
- Give us names and tell us why they're deserving, and we'll include your responses in a future edition of Axios Phoenix.
