UofA is hoping to close out the season strong after suffering its first loss of the men's college basketball season on Monday, but the final leg of the Wildcats' schedule won't make things easy.
State of play: Per ESPN, the Cats have the third-toughest remaining strength of schedule this season.
📆 UofA has seven more games in the regular season, five of them against ranked opponents.
They play No. 16 Texas Tech on Saturday, followed by games against No. 22 BYU, No. 3 Houston, unranked Baylor, No. 9 Kansas and No. 5 Iowa State before closing out the regular season March 7 against unranked Colorado.
Then comes the Big 12 tournament, where the Cats will face stiff competition as they vie for the conference title heading into March Madness.
Catch up quick: The Cats started the season 23-0 – a school record — and held the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press rankings for nine consecutive weeks.
Kansas ended UofA's perfect season Monday with an 82-78 win on the Jayhawks' home court.
