The Arizona Science Center will debut its latest traveling exhibit tomorrow, and will transport visitors back in time to 79 A.D.
The big picture: "Pompeii: The Exhibition" explores the storied Roman city that was destroyed — and preserved — by the explosion of Mount Vesuvius.
More than 150 artifacts on loan from Naples National Archaeological Museum and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii will be on display and a simulated eruption will provide an immersive experience for history buffs and kiddos alike.
If you go: The exhibit will be in Phoenix through April 12, 2026.
