A new libation from O.H.S.O. Brewery + Distillery combines an array of local ingredients for a boozy show of hometown pride.
Why it matters: Proceeds from the new brew will support Local First Arizona, which props up small businesses across the state.
Also, beer is good.
Zoom in: The Sonoran Sipper is a cream ale with hibiscus lime zest, made with barley from Sossaman Farms in Queen Creek, malted by the farms' new endeavor: Homestead Malting.
O.H.S.O. sourced the magenta hibiscus from Shamba AZ, an urban farm in north Phoenix.
What's next: The Sonoran Sipper will debut Oct. 25 at all O.H.S.O. locations and be available at Local First Arizona's Arizona Fall Fest on Nov. 8 at Margaret T. Hance Park.
