State of play: STV Inc., the incorporation campaign, turned in at least 10,500 signatures at the Pinal County Recorder's Office in Florence, incorporation committee chair Tyler Hudgins told Axios.
They need at least 6,107 valid signatures to put the question on the ballot, he said.
What's next: The county will verify the signatures, and if there are enough valid ones, incorporation will go on the Aug. 5 ballot.
Hudgins said he hopes the process will be completed this week.
"We feel optimistic that we'll have enough," he said.
