Winter is giving way to spring, and that means more daylight, though in a few months, we'll be begging Mother Nature to take some back.
Driving the news: Most of Arizona, including the Phoenix and Tucson areas, will gain about two and a half hours of daylight between tomorrow's spring equinox and the summer solstice on June 20, per NOAA's solar calculator.
- The further north you go, the more daylight you gain. The furthest northern part of Arizona looks to gain about three hours.
