Bite Club: Le Taco offers music and vibes with your food

• They're located in the space recently vacated by Little O's, which closed in August after nearly four years. 

Zoom in: Le Taco is big on tunes and musical aesthetic, with records and stereo equipment on display. 

• "Who doesn't love tacos, and who doesn't love listening to music?" co-owner Michael Immordino told the Phoenix New Times.
• In addition to tacos, salads and sides like guacamole and nachos, they have a full menu of signature cocktails. 

The verdict: They've got 13 tacos to choose from, so I went with the barbacoa for a more traditional taste, the mahi mahi and the classico — ground beef in a hard shell — because even if a hard-shell taco isn't generally considered authentic, it's still tasty. 

• I enjoyed them all, but the mahi mahi was probably my favorite. The hefty portion of fried fish was tender and meaty. 
• My only disappointment is they didn't have the duck taco that's on the menu.
