Our high temperatures are still in the 100s, but we're seeing one tell-tale sign that fall is on its way — our days are getting shorter.
The big picture: Phoenix is seeing about two hours less sunlight this month than in mid-June, per NOAA's Solar Calculator.
- The summer solstice was June 20. The fall equinox is Sept. 22.
