A WM Phoenix Open that stood out for foul weather and especially rowdy fans had a thrilling end yesterday with a big win for Canadian golfer Nick Taylor at TPC Scottsdale.

• Taylor sank a birdie putt on the second playoff hole against Charley Hoffman in the final round.
• His score of 60 on Friday tied a course record matched by three other golfers, most recently by Phil Mickelson, who did it in 2005 and 2013.
• It was Taylor's fourth PGA Tour win.
