Jon Batiste has a new project, and this time it showcases his voice.
Zoom in: The New Orleans-born musician narrates a new documentary showcasing the American South's natural world.
"American Amazon" will premiere Nov. 13 in select IMAX and big-screen theaters, Deadline reports.
The doc will then appear on PBS' "Nature" as a two-part miniseries in early 2027.
The documentary takes viewers on a journey through Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and the Carolinas, Deadline reports.
Batiste's voice "is a perfect match for all the drama and soul-stirring beauty of this landscape, allowing audiences to connect with the untamed spirit of the wild South," said director Eric Bendick.
Meanwhile: Batiste isn't the only New Orleanian with PBS connections these days.
