👋 Chelsea here. I know City Council has some ideas for managing the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board, but I'd like to suggest stealing one from Rome: Nasoni.
Zoom in: During a summer trip for my friends' wedding, I became obsessed with Rome's free water fountains, at least in part because we were there during a heat wave.
But when I read about their history, how good they are for staying hydrated and that they help keep the city's pipes in good shape by maintaining constant water pressure, a lightbulb went off.
The bottom line: I'm no civil engineer, but this feels like an idea worth considering.
