Jefferson Parish Library receipts now include the dollar amount you saved with that visit.
Why it matters: It's a creative way for the library to quantify perks that are often taken for granted.
The big picture: The computer system tallies what the library paid for the books a patron checks out and prints that amount at the bottom of the receipt, said library director Jessica Styons.
