Why it matters: Free + kittens + air conditioning = winning idea IMO.
How it works: The Jefferson SPCA brings kittens and toys to a large conference room at the East Bank Regional Library.
You bring a yoga mat and find a spot. They release the cats, who then scamper around.
You can follow along with a yoga video or just chill with the furballs. In a recent class, the attendees' attention was split about 50/50 between exercising and snuggling.
Between the lines: The goal is to help socialize the kittens so they'll be ready to be adopted.
If you go: The class is open to the first 100 people. Children are welcome, as long as they have adult chaperones.
