Winn-Dixie exits metro New Orleans

🛒 Winn-Dixie continues to close its metro stores, breaking our hearts a little more each time. ICYMI: The new owners are closing all stores outside Florida.

• The Metairie store on Veterans closed this week. It will soon be followed by the ones on Tchoup, Carrollton and in Harahan. See the tracker.
• They are expected to become Aldi locations.

Other grocery store news: Someone crashed into Dorignac's last night, smashing the dining area of the cafe. The driver was hospitalized, but JPSO says no one was else hurt. (Fox 8)
