Brennan's has a fun new Mardi Gras cocktail in honor of Muses that's served in a mini bathtub and topped with a rubber ducky.
Why it matters: It disappears after Lundi Gras.
The big picture: Ember Siegmund, Brennan's lead bartender, created the Duckie ($19) as an ode to Muses' bathtub and duck floats.
- The parade rolls at 6pm Thursday on the Uptown route.
- The adorable drink is a pinkish-purple blueberry margarita.
- "It's a sugar bomb," fellow bartender Tommy Brennan says. "Anybody who asks me if they want something sweet, this is the one."
- The bubble whip is made with blue curaçao and pureed blueberries.

💬 My thought bubble: Too sweet for this martini drinker, but I'd order it again just for the tub.
- The whip was delicious, and I hope Brennan's finds a way to keep it on the menu.
Zoom in: Brennan's also has drinks for Zulu, Rex and Bacchus, but only the B-Saurus comes in a themed glass — a dinosaur hatching from an egg.
- The drinks are available for a few more days, and then Brennan's will transition to its spring menu, says Braithe Gill, Brennan's beverage director and sommelier.
- The Roost Bar also serves the flamingo bubble cocktail, alcohol-free spirits and other specialty drinks.

Zoom out: Gill was recently named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award.
- She oversaw the transformation of the Roost Bar, which specializes in theatrical cocktail presentations.
Worth your time: Pigeon & Whale also uses a Barbie-size bathtub to serve chocolate mousse.
If you go: Brennan's takes walk-ins at the Roost Bar.
