The Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, David Byrne and Lorde will headline New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2026.
Why it matters: The big names anchor a festival with hundreds of local acts also in on the action.
Zoom in: The top of the lineup also includes Louisiana's own Lainey Wilson, Jon Batiste and Trombone Shorty, plus Teddy Swims, Kings of Leon, Tyler Childers, The Black Keys, T-Pain, Raye, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nas, Widespread Panic, Jason Isbell, Alabama Shakes, St. Vincent, the Isley Brothers, Herbie Hancock and Earth, Wind & Fire.
- Plus Ziggy Marley, Lake Street Dive, Mavis Staples, The Revivalists, Carlos Vives, Sean Paul, Dianne Reeves, Irma Thomas, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Cyril Neville, Rhiannon Giddens, Big Freedia, Little Feat and Samantha Fish.
- See the full lineup on the Jazz Fest website.
Fun fact: The Cultural Exchange Pavilion in 2026 will be a pairing with Jamaican artists, musicians and makers, organizers say.
If you go: The fest is scheduled for April 23–26 and April 30–May 3.
- General admission weekend passes and VIP packages go on sale Friday at 10am. They start at $399, including fees. Details.
- Daily ticket sales will arrive later. Expect some discounted ticket options for locals, too.
Between the lines: The festival typically waits until January to announce its lineup, so having the full list of acts this early will surely make planning easier for those coming in from out of town.
What we're watching: Jazz Fest didn't show all its cards just yet.
- The daily schedules, known as "the cubes," aren't out yet. Typically, those are released just a couple months out from showtime.
- But after this early release, it may be worth looking for those a bit sooner than usual, too.
